It’s Snowing and….my garden is growing.

February 7, 2011

I promise I will get better at these titles soon… maybe???… I am having way to much fun being cheesy for now so just deal!

Once again it’s snowing here in Jackson and I am stuck inside. I am making the best of it though, I have used this time to do a little shopping. I went to Walmart and the feed store to pick up seeds and such.

It’s Saturday in the Jackson Walmart… All the isles are full except this one… Hizzah…..

I got these awesome leather garden gloves. Can’t wait to break them in. I got to use them this week when I replanted lettuce seed in the three pots that did not sprout.

I also planted some garlic (left) and onion (right) in two clay pots. My plan is to use these as markers once I plant the ones in the ground.

That’s it for now. I am hoping to get my onions and garlic in the ground in the next week or two (whether permitted) so stay posted for more on that as well as the trellis as soon as I can get a sunny day outside.

Yes, I really like these. They fit great…and the best thing about them is that I can wear them while using my iphone and ipad and it works on the touch screen. I didn’t realize this when I bought them, but it’s defiantly a plus! At 6$ you can’t beat ‘um. we shall see how they hold up this season.

      Thanks for the comments!
